RIPFOLDS®, Open Wounds in Time, is an adult fiction novel and the first in a three-book series. Book One follows three teenagers: two with unique gifts that allow them to travel through time, and a third who is unique in a different way.

This story is about three young teenagers; two with unique gifts to travel in time and the third just unique. Their mission is to destroy a virus. The virus is driven by the emotion of the host to attack and steal a person’s memory. Our two heroes, with the help of the third, travel through the Ripfold to put back the lost memory and destroy the virus. If they don’t succeed the Ripfold will close, vanish and the moment is lost forever. Sealed wounds in time never to be performed, never to be realized.

Ripfolds II, Magical Summer
Brandon, Jules, Jimmy, and a young scientist, named Ming’s come together to discover their summer will be different. This summer their world is shaped by the dark shadows and torn remnants of a virus. The contagion freely and with targeted abandon changing lives and pilfering the free will of the infected. The teens’ mission: to jump the Ripfold, put back the memory, destroy the virus and return the universe to normal. Time, however, is not on their side, the summer is short, the bug is mutating, spreading and others, very powerful others are beginning to understand the Ripfold.

Ripfolds III, In the Beginning
In early 2005 an Ohio based technology company was engaged to develop a viral based vaccine to treat post-traumatic stress disorder. A virus was created and driven by the emotion of the host to attack memory. The virus went AWOL, mutated, spread outside of the intended scope. The company’s Chief Scientist, Gurvinder “Binky” Fair and her best friend Anna Childs are contaminated. The pathogen they know is spreading its influence now well beyond the two of them, well into their children and soon they believe the rest of the world. Trying to understand what they created, a challenge, controlling the contagion even harder. Destroying it may be their only hope but others are now closing in on the Ripfold.
In the end this will be a struggle for the next generation.

My Brother's Gains
My brother Mike passed in early 2022. As we were emptying Mikes apartment I happen to shoot a video of his artwork, instruments, and home. He was an accomplished artist, musician, and brother. Many of the paintings in the videos were created during 2020-2021 COVID lockdown and never seen before outside of the family.
